Yarn for Good started when a friend invited me to her house to see if I wanted a “few” knitting items and “some” yarn. “Some” yarn turned out to be six bins full of gorgeousness. Knowing that I had my own stash at home, I told her that I would take her yarn and design a website where her yarn would be sold to benefit charity. In the past 4 1/2  years since that day, generous donors like her from across the United States have sent their unused stashes to Yarn for Good so that sales can benefit their designated charities.
