Susan Crawford Vintage Fenella

Fenella is a Susan Crawford Vintage 100% British wool, grown, spun and dyed in Britain and hand finished at Monkley Ghyll. Created for The Vintage Shetland Project,  this yarn is the perfect alternative to ‘vintage’ 3ply yarns of yesteryear. The yarn colors have all been dyed to recreate authentic period yarn colors from the 1930s to the 1950s.

Fenella is a 2-ply yarn, worsted spun for a soft handle, and works exquisitely for Fair Isle projects as well as textured and lace stitches, blocking and holding its shape beautifully.
