Annandale Yarn is soft and squishy and knits up into strong, warm and beautiful one-of-a kind pieces. Each skein is unique and made with love on the coast of Maine from the lustrous fiber of two very mischievous angora goats. The mohair is blended at a mill in Maine before dying and spinning it, one skein at a time. The result is a thick/thin texture. This yarn is 120 yds per skein. The donor had these two matched with It’s Sew Ewe, a hands-on 3-ply with colors compatible with the Annandale, and with Malabrigo Twist Indiecita. So be sure and take a look at these two as well if you have a larger project.

Nora Yarns Rikka
Noro Rikka is a voluminous yarn and a typical Noro blend of Merino wool and Corriedale, combined with the softest Peruvian alpaca, and undyed mulberry silk. The yarn and the finished knitted fabric appear to be covered with a touch of white. It seems as if you are looking at a landscape that has been surprised by a frosty night or a sudden snowfall (which is the meaning of Rikka in Japanese “snow crystal”).
