Annandale Yarn is soft and squishy and knits up into strong, warm and beautiful one-of-a kind pieces. Each skein is unique and made with love on the coast of Maine from the lustrous fiber of two very mischievous angora goats. The mohair is blended at a mill in Maine before dying and spinning it, one skein at a time. The result is a thick/thin texture. This yarn is 120 yds per skein. The donor had these two matched with It’s Sew Ewe, a hands-on 3-ply with colors compatible with the Annandale, and with Malabrigo Twist Indiecita. So be sure and take a look at these two as well if you have a larger project.

Emma’s Yarn was started by Emma, a (then) 15 year-old homeschooled student who fell in love with dyeing yarn when learning ratios in her math lesson. Her eye for color is amazing! It wasn’t long before she started selling small batches in her parents’ yarn shop, and when that proved to be successful, moved production from her kitchen to a dye studio downtown.
