Classic Elite Yarns Firefly

Classic Elite Yarns Firefly

Firefly is a warm-weather yarn with a subtle sheen and wonderful hand. The juxtaposition of the linen with a light-catching sheen gives it a distinctly feminine look. Firefly drapes wonderfully at a wide range of gauges – knit loosely for elegant lace or more tightly for stockinette fabrics.

Erika Knight Studio Linen

Erika Knight Studio Linen

Linen is an ancient sustainable, natural fibre spun from the flax plant. Flax itself is naturally resistant to pests and therefore practically no pesticides nor herbicides are necessary to grow these eco-friendly stem fiber plants. Flax plants produce large amounts of usable fiber per acre and do not require irrigation. Linen is durable, soft, lustrous and flexible and will naturally soften with wear and washing.

Studio Linen is made from 100% linen. 85% is recycled rayon-linen fiber, sorted from selected wastage and regenerated using the eco-friendly hydrolysis method. Blended with 15% premium natural linen, these fibers are twisted and dyed by a specialist Italian spinner in Biella to produce a unique yarn with a dry hand feel and subtle sheen.
